The Observatory has the task of analysing the state of Professional Technical Education and Training in the country, its main challenges, and the development of this education stream considering the social and labour market context, while proposing innovative solutions for the implementation of education programmes.

To achieve its goals, this space aims to serve as an intersection point for the academic, research, labour market and student populations. By generating alliances between different groups that unite under the interest of continuously strengthening and improving the development of the Costa Rican education system, the Observatory is well placed to continue the work of the LELAM-TVET4INCOME in the years following the project.
