The expected boom of the youth, working-age population in lower-middle and low-income countries demands a better understanding and measurement of the youth labor market. The Youth Labor Market Index for Low Income Countries (YLILI) does just that. The index combines 12 indicators into three dimensions: transition, working conditions and education. The indicators are especially designed to measure youth labor market conditions in formal and informal economies. YLILI can be used by policy makers to get a sense on how far their country is from the ideal state. Additionally, they can see their relative position compared to other countries. The YLILI-webtool assists users in these comparisons and offers access to the underlying data:  external pagehttps://nadel.shinyapps.io/ylili/
